ODYSSEY: A Story Told in Real Time is a documentary unlike traditional documentaries.
Rather than reconstructing the past after events have ended, ODYSSEY documents a life, a legal journey, investigative reporting, and community engagement as they unfold.
Every chapter is filmed while it is happening. Every milestone becomes part of the story. Every setback, breakthrough, interview, investigation, and public record contributes to an evolving documentary archive.

Director's Statement
ODYSSEY began with one simple idea:
What happens when you stop waiting for history and begin documenting it as it unfolds?
This project follows not only my personal journey but also the communities, institutions, and unanswered questions that intersect with it. Through documentary filmmaking, investigative journalism, and public records, I hope to create an honest record of events while they are still unfolding.
The process itself becomes part of the film.
About the Filmmaker
Socrates Ulysses Packer is a documentary filmmaker, investigative writer, and founder of Bring It to the Table Colorado.
His work focuses on criminal justice, public accountability, community stories, and documentary storytelling.
ODYSSEY represents his first feature-length documentary project and serves as the foundation for an ongoing archive documenting real people and real events in real time.
